Little Giants is the second single taken off Kris Tidjan’s debut album on BBE Music - ‘Small Axes’

"Little Giants" is a powerful anthem that will move your heart and soul. The lyrics remind us that we are all equal under the sun, facing the same challenges and striving for survival. It's a message that speaks to the young and old alike, and urges us to look beyond our differences and come together as one.

This song is particularly meaningful in today's world, where children are growing up in urban jungles designed for adults. But despite the challenges they face, they have purpose and a power to change and shape their reality. The jazz riff on the chorus, performed by Kris' brother Alain Rosine, adds an uplifting and energetic element to the track. Alain Rosine is a talented musician and producer with a passion for jazz and world music.

Born in Martinique, he was exposed to a wide range of musical styles from a young age, and started playing guitar and bass in local bands.
The track also features Zoran Terzic, a highly accomplished jazz pianist and composer. Born in Serbia, he started playing piano at a young age and quickly developed a passion for jazz music. Over the years, Zoran has worked with some of the biggest names in jazz, including John Patitucci, Antonio Sanchez, and Branford Marsalis. He has released several albums of his own, showcasing his talent as both a pianist and a composer. His music is known for its rich harmonies, intricate rhythms, and soulful melodies.

Terzic's beautiful solo on the Wurlitzer further adds to the emotional depth of the song, and brings to mind the imagery of a waterfall. It's a powerful reminder that there's always something greater and more beautiful waiting for us, if only we have the courage to seek it out.

Like so many others, this came like a bolt out of the blue and, even though it's well before payday, I had to have this astonishing album on vinyl to prove it exists. The feel of the tunes makes me feel like the Impressions do, Curtis Mayfield, the big spaces and instinctive horns and stuff drifting in and out. Great grooves and I can see lots of ghosts nodding along to this with big smiles on their faces. At last! Anthony Cottrell
